When I was in my early twenties, I thought I was single and ready for a relationship until I ended up in what I call a “relationship collision.” I did what so many people do, in that I entered a relationship without knowing who I was and what my purpose is.
Have you ever gotten something you were not yet ready for? Did you end up ruining it? Losing it? Paying for it?
Many marriages have ended in divorce because the couple was focused on preparing for the wedding day and not so much on the marriage. Some people get the man or woman of their dreams and soon the unresolved issues they had when they were single reappear, causing problems in the marriage they thought they were ready for.
Singles, do not take the WAITING season you’re in for granted. Before you know it, your Mr. or Mrs. Right will come along looking to settle down with someone who is truly single — ‘whole without holes.’
Single ladies, will you be like Esther, ready and waiting to meet your king?
What about you, men? Will you also be ready and waiting to meet your queen?
Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the area(s) you need to work on to be fit for your royal appointment.
