Engagement News!!
Since the release of my first book Single, Ready & Waiting: Your Guide to Courtship in 2012, both male and female readers have been sharing their exciting engagement news with me. To date, there has been 5 engagements and two marriages so far.
Rose being the most recent single to get engaged -this week actually- I thought it would have been a great idea – with her permission- to share her SRW testimony from 2012 and our recent conversation about how she changed her focus and embraced her single season.
“The Book Launch was awesome! I just want to say that your book is beginning to transform my life bit by bit. I realize that I am a work in progress and that I am not “ready” which is very disappointing for me to admit because I am tired of being single and I’ve been single far to long.” 2012
2 YEARS LATER – WHAT DID ROSE DO IN HER “MEANTIME.”
When I recently asked Rose what she did to stay busy while waiting she said the following:
- I started eating healthy
- Exercise regularly
- Shifted my mind set
- Started own business
- Reading more WORD.
Kudos to Rose for applying what she learned in STOP #7 “Remember to L.I.V.E While Waiting” pg. 82, in her single season. (FYI: THE STOPS and SRW SIGNALS are two different things).
Rose also shares that the SRW book “helped me very much. It made me realize that I needed to wait on the Lord and allow Him to send the person in my life, when I was not looking for it.”
